How to deactivate 30-day overdue training users

When a user fails a weekly phishing test, they need to complete their security training assignment within 30 days (about 4 and a half weeks). However, when a user has passed their 30 days, we will need to disable their email account in AD (Active Directory).  

When we disable a user account, Knowbe4 also moves that user to the Archive folder, where users not able to login/ disable from Knowbe4 as well.

So we need to enable both ends when users call.

How to enable:

  1. Enable users in AD first
  2. Login into Knowbe4 (Admins need to log in with user credentials)
  3. Go to Users tap > users > choose the Archived’ option for Status.
  •  Next search the user by email or name on the search bar.

  1. Select the option and click restore.

How to re-sent training links:

 

Note: The password-less link should be active for 3 days.

 

  1. Go to the Training tab and choose the group which the users in. (V should updated the notification template mentioning the Refresher Training round number)update

  1. Once you choose the training round, go to users and search for the user by email or name. Next click the Action button and select Send Notification. A screenshot of a computer

  1. Choose who you want to send out and click the drop down to choose the notification template.

 

Note: V already created few custom temples, so scroll down to the bottom
